My husband and I added our first ragdoll (our current male Leo:) to our family in 2023 which was our first step on the path to Deep South Cattery. Our first litter was born in July of 2025, but this is not the first litter I have had a hand in raising. My mother raised them for many years, which is where I learned to dearly love the wonderful Ragdoll breed. Our kittens are very well handled and loved by every member of our family.
We live in northeast Georgia about 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta. I am willing to meet within 30 miles of my location, but anything beyond that will require an additional travel fee to cover my gas and time. Meeting at the airport is also an option for an additional fee.
We abide by the TICA code of ethics. This means all kittens will go home at 12 weeks old and will already be spayed/neutered. Keeping our kittens until 12 weeks old also allows your kitten to learn many valuable things from his/her mother such as how to use the litter box.
We do provide a two year from birth health guarantee for all kittens for congenital/genetic conditions. All kittens are examined by our vet prior to leaving. It is important to note that kittens sometimes present with sneezing when adjusting to their new home which comes from different environment and will resolve itself. We urge our new buyers to set up a new kitten vet appointment within 3 days of bringing home your new kitten. We do everything we can to prepare you and help the transition be as smooth as possible for you and your new kitten. We provide a sample of food and a toy that smells like home for transitioning, records of previous shots/vet care and TICA registration paperwork. We also provide a signed copy of our health guarantee/sales agreement and will ask for your signature at pick up for our records.
Ragdolls are very laid back and docile which makes them fantastic companions for all ages. This also means that they are NOT an outdoor breed. When adopting a kitten from Deep South Cattery you agree to house your kitten indoors.
